Kyiv waiting for Moscow's response to proposals of contact group on settling situation in Ukraine's east - Deschytsia
Ukraine is waiting for Russia's response to the proposals worked out by a trilateral contact group on settling the situation in Donbas, but so far it has received none, Acting Foreign Minister of Ukraine Andriy Deschytsia has said.
"We are waiting for a response and Russia's position on this concept paper, but so far all we get is growing tension on the eastern borders and support for separatists by Russia with military equipment," Deschytsia said at a press conference on Thursday.
The minister added that the Ukraine-Russia-OSCE contact group was currently working on approaches to the implementation of the peace plan proposed by Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko.
