U.S. Vice President Biden supports Poroshenko's peace plan for eastern Ukraine

Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko during a telephone conversation briefed U.S. Vice President Joseph Biden about the progress made by the trilateral contact group for implementing Ukrainian president's peace plan for eastern Ukraine.

For his part, U.S. vice president expressed his country's readiness to continue supporting steps to ensure Ukraine's territorial integrity and to take joint steps to resolve the situation in eastern Ukraine, Poroshenko's press service reported on Wednesday.
