Poroshenko doesn't rule out roundtable in Donetsk involving parties to conflict
Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has not ruled out the holding of the roundtable in Donetsk involving various parties to the conflict, who support his peace plan.
Poroshenko said this at a meeting with Head of Donetsk Regional State Administration Serhiy Taruta, the president's press service reported.
"We do not need talks for the sake of the talks, Poroshenko stressed adding: "Our peace plan should be the basis for the further de-escalation of the conflict. Terrorists must lay down their arms," he said.
The peace plan of the Ukrainian president envisages for the recognition by the Russian Federation of the presidential elections in Ukraine, the cease-fire by the terrorists and the establishment of the humanitarian corridor for civilians, who are not involved in the conflict.
