Hrytsenko denies rumors of arrangements for his appointment as Ukraine's defense minister
Leader of the Civil Position party and former defense minister, MP Anatoliy Hrytsenko has denied reports in the media about the alleged agreement with Ukraine's President Petro Poroshenko about his appointment to the post of the Defense Minister of Ukraine.
"In connection with the false reports in some mass media, I am getting calls from journalists and your emails with the request to comment: Is it true that you met with the president? Is it true that Petro Poroshenko offered you the post of defense minister? Is it true that he has already submitted your nomination to the Verkhovna Rada? I am giving exhaustive answers: we didn't meet, there was no offer, there was no nomination," Hrytsenko wrote on Tuesday night.
