Ukraine's course to Europe is irreversible, says Ukrainian prime minister
Ukraine's course to integrate with the European Union is irreversible, Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk has said.
"Our course to Europe is irreversible. Yes, the political, economic, legislative and democratic [course], as Ukraine is a European state in its principles," he said speaking in the parliament on Friday with a report on 100 days of the work of the Ukrainian government.
The premier said that the economic part of the Association Agreement with the EU is to be signed as soon as possible.
Yatseniuk said that the signing of the Agreement would be a first step to see Ukraine as an EU member in the future.
"Our movement towards European future is irreversible, decisive and resolute," the premier said.
