Ukrainian prosecutors say 181 people, among them 59 soldiers, killed in east Ukraine fighting
A total of 181 people, including 59 Ukrainian Armed Forces servicemen, have died as a result of armed clashes in the eastern regions of Ukraine, the country's acting Prosecutor General Oleh Makhnitsky said at a press conference on Tuesday.
"On the whole, 181 people were killed, including 59 servicemen, and another 293 were injured because of terrorist activities in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions," he said.
