National Guard serviceman killed near Sloviansk on Saturday, two servicemen wounded
A serviceman of the National Guard of Ukraine was killed after an attack on the division of the National Guard in Sloviansk, Donetsk region, in the evening on Saturday and two servicemen were wounded, the press service of the National Guard has reported.
"In the evening, on May 24, an attack was made on the division of the National Guard of Ukraine in Sloviansk… During a battle lasted for around two hours two servicemen were wounded: a hand of one serviceman was wounded by a grenade splinter and another serviceman was wounded and a bullet entered his body. The wounded persons are getting medical care at a hospital," reads the report.
"Another serviceman suffered a non-survivable wound during the attack. The command of the National Guard extends their sincere condolences to the parents, relatives and colleagues of the killed serviceman," reads the report.
