The Russian Forces units, which were involved in routine military drills at remote training sites in the Rostov, Belgorod and Bryansk regions, are returning to their bases, the Russian Defense Ministry said.
"All military units and formations, which fulfilled a set of routine military drills at remote training sites, are to return to their bases by the start of the summer training period (June 1, 2014)," the ministry said in a press statement obtained by Interfax-AVN on Wednesday.
"Over the past 24 hours the units have dismantled field camps and the training material base, loaded their gear, readied the equipment for the march and are now heading to train stations and airfields for embarkation," the ministry said.
