The freight train that crashed into a passenger train traveling from Moscow to Chisinau belongs to Ukraine.
"The freight train, which caused a rail disaster near Moscow, belongs to Ukraine," a source in Russian Railways told Interfax on Tuesday.
"Unfortunately, the train was badly worn out," the source said.
