Yatseniuk: presidential elections should be held in all regions of Ukraine
The early presidential elections scheduled to be held in Ukraine on May 25 should be conducted in all regions of Ukraine, Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk said.
"The elections should be held in all regions of Ukraine without exceptions. We realize that there will be problems with the election campaign in some places, but such places are few and it will not affect the election outcome," he said during an intercom meeting in Kyiv on Monday.
"Legitimate elections will be held in Ukraine, and Ukraine will have a legitimate and lawfully elected president," Yatseniuk said.
Yatseniuk also said the upcoming elections will have political competition. "A broad range of presidential candidates are represented and registered, people can choose any political ideology […] People can choose, they need to come and vote," he said.
