Poland hopes visa-free travel between Ukraine, EU will begin in mid-2015, says PM
Poland hopes that a visa-free regime between Ukraine and the European Union will be introduced in mid-2015, Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski has said.
"If you do what is necessary, we will support you and hopefully it will be possible to introduce it by the middle of next year," he said at a press conference after meeting with Ukraine's Acting Foreign Minister Andriy Deschytsia in Kyiv on Friday.
He noted the importance of Ukraine's implementing the laws adopted by the Verkhovna Rada, which are required for canceling EU visas for Ukrainians.
As reported, the Ukrainian parliament adopted all the laws required for the transition to the second stage of the action plan on visa facilitation with the EU.
