OSCE roadmap needs to be adjusted - Ukrainian Foreign Ministry
The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry agrees with the roadmap plan proposed by the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe in order to settle the situation in Ukraine, but it needs to be adjusted, said Ukrainian Foreign Ministry spokesman Yevhen Perebyinis.,
"This roadmap is being actively discussed. We provided our proposes way before the roadmap, devised by Switzerland as the country holding the organization's rotating presidency, was referred to all members. The roadmap partially reflects what Ukraine proposed. But there are moments which need to be specified. At least we would like to discuss them again," he said.
He also said that the roadmap must take the views of all negotiating parties into account, first of all Ukraine.
Ukraine has started implementing this roadmap by scheduling the first all-Ukrainian National Unity roundtable discussion in the Verkhovna Rada for Wednesday, he said.
