Ukraine's acting President and Parliament Speaker Oleksandr Turchynov said the situation in Mariupol has stabilized.
"The police and representatives of the staff of enterprises such as Illich Steel Mill, Azovstal resumed joint patrols last night, and that makes it possible to speak about a stabilization of the situation in Mariupol," Turchynov told a meeting of the parliament's conciliatory council session on Monday.
Turchynov said the military operation in the eastern regions of the country continues, adding that "the situation is more or less stable in the northern part of the Luhansk region."
