Militants shoot down Mi-24 military helicopter, pilots survive, says Defense Ministry

A Mi-24 helicopter of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was shot down from a heavy machine gun outside the town of Sloviansk in Donetsk region, the press service of the Defense Ministry of Ukraine reported on Monday.

According to the press service, the helicopter was shot down at around 1430 when it was on a combat mission. Its pilots survived.
