Information Resistance predicts worsening of situation in southeastern Ukraine on May 9
The chairman of the Center for Military and Political Studies and the coordinator of the Information Resistance group, Dmytro Tymchuk, has said he predicts the worsening of the situation in Ukraine's southeastern regions on May 9.
"We believe that current destabilization that has begun since early May is nothing compared with what is to come. I'm afraid that we'll see the worst on May 9 if urgent measures are not taken now," he said at a press conference in Kyiv on Monday.
In his opinion, the anti-terrorist operation is "more or less successful," but the main problem is the absence of the political will to give clear orders to the military, the competence of the leadership and interaction between law enforcers, as well as the absence of clarity when to use weapons.
