Odesa detainees transferred to different region - Ukrainian Interior Ministry
Forty-two people detained in the May 2 unrest in Odesa have been transferred to one of the central regions of Ukraine, Ukrainian Interior Minister Arsen Avakov has said.
"Forty-two people detained in the unrest in Odesa on May 2 were transferred to one of the central regions of Ukraine last night," Avakov said on Facebook on Monday morning.
According to earlier reports, at least 46 people were killed and over 200 were injured in the riots and fire in Odesa on May 2.
Initially, over 170 people were detained, but some of them were later released. A total of 127 were detained as active participants in the riots. On May 4, the police released another 67 people detained in the riots.
