Police detain two organizers of disorder in Kharkiv
Law enforcers have detained two organizers of mass disturbances in Kharkiv who coordinated their actions outside Ukraine, the press service of the Ukrainian Interior Ministry reported on Wednesday.
"Employees of the Ukrainian Interior Ministry's main office in Kharkiv region detained Yuriy Apukhtin and Spartak Holovachov. Law enforcers established that the men coordinated their actions outside Ukraine and then organized mass disturbances and offenses in Kharkiv," reads the report.
The detainees were named suspects in committing a crime under Article 294 (mass disturbances) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The maximum penalty envisaged by this article is imprisonment for a term of up to 15 years. The issue of selecting a measure of restraint for them is currently being resolved.
