Turchynov appoints Chernetsky interim Head of State Management of Presidential Affairs – decree

Acting President of Ukraine Oleksandr Turchynov has appointed Oleh Chernetsky interim Head of the State Management of Presidential Affairs.

"According to Article 112 of the Constitution of Ukraine, I hereby order that First Deputy Head of the State Management of Presidential Affairs Oleh Chernetsky be appointed interim Head of the State Management of Presidential Affairs," reads Turchynov's decree posted on presidential Web site.

As reported, on April 24 Turchynov fired Serhiy Averchenko (UDAR party) from the position of Head of the State Management of Presidential Affairs after he was appointed to this position on March 24. On April 1, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine approved Averchenko's petition to give up his deputy's mandate.
