Turchynov orders Interior Ministry, SBU to investigate attempt on Kernes' life
Acting Ukrainian President and Verkhovna Rada Chairman Oleksandr Turchynov has ordered an investigation into the attempt on the life of Kharkiv Mayor Hennadiy Kernes, the Verkhovna Rada press service reported on Monday.
"Oleksandr Turchynov instructed the Interior Ministry and the Security Service of Ukraine to immediately investigate the attempt on the life of Kharkiv Mayor Hennadiy Kernes and report on the results," reads the statement.
