Obama: Russia ignoring Geneva agreement on Ukraine
Russia is not fulfilling its part of the Geneva agreement on Ukraine, U.S. President Barack Obama said on Thursday.
"So far at least we have seen them not abide by the spirit or the letter of the agreement in Geneva," the Western media quoted Obama as saying during his visit to Japan.
He warned that if Russia did not play its part, there would be "consequences and we will ramp up further sanctions."
Obama said that Russia should use its influence to persuade armed men in eastern Ukraine to stop resisting the authorities.
