US providing technical assistance to Ukraine worth $20 mln, says Biden
The United States is providing technical assistance worth $20 million to help Ukraine address the security challenges it faces, U.S. Vice President Joseph Biden has said.
Despite the fact that Washington is working diplomatically, the United States also renders support to the security forces of Ukraine so that the country can cope with the challenges it faces, Biden said in a statement in Kyiv on Tuesday after a meeting with Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk.
The United States is providing communications equipment and technology for disposing of explosives at a cost of a total of almost $20 million, he said.
