US confirms its support for Ukraine's territorial integrity – Kerry-Deschytsia meeting
U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry has reaffirmed U.S. support for Ukraine's territorial integrity, the information policy department of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry has reported.
This issue was discussed at a meeting between Kerry and Acting Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Deschytsia in Geneva on Thursday.
"The sides discussed preparations for a four-way meeting at the level of foreign ministers of Ukraine, the United States, the EU and Russia. The U.S. Secretary of State assured the Ukrainian side of his unquestioned support for Ukraine's territorial integrity. They agreed to take all possible diplomatic measures to de-escalate the situation in the southeastern regions of Ukraine," reads the statement.
