The head of the Ukrainian Interior Ministry's main office in Donetsk region, Kostiantyn Pozhydayev, has tendered his resignation.
According to an Interfax-Ukraine reporter, he said this after talks with protesters who arrived earlier in the afternoon at the building of the regional police department.
Pozhydayev said that protesters had forced him to resign.
