Yatseniuk: Kyiv is ready for dialogue with regions
Ukraine's central administration is ready for dialogue with the regions and is ready to fulfill the lawful demands made by every resident of Ukraine, Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk said during a meeting with representatives of the Donetsk region.
Yatseniuk pointed out the importance of a constitutional reform, which he said aims to give more powers to the regions.
"The institution of regional state administrations should become history," he said.
"We want to regulate the powers of the parliament, the president, and the Cabinet of Ministers" in the constitution reform, Yatseniuk said.
Yatseniuk reiterated that "our common task is to balance the powers of the center and the regions."
