Ukrainians should independently decide on constitutional amendments - Rasmussen

Ukrainian citizens should independently decide on the introduction of amendments to the constitution of their country, NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen said on Wednesday.

"I have to say that constitutional matters are really an issue to be addressed internally in Ukraine without external interference. That's for the Ukrainians to decide," he said at a press conference in Brussels on Wednesday, while commenting on reports that Russia is calling on Ukraine to amend its constitution.
