Tymoshenko, Fule discuss European prospects of Ukraine

Batkivschyna Party leader Yulia Tymoshenko and EU Commissioner for Enlargement and European Neighborhood Policy Stefan Fule discussed the current situation in Ukraine and prospects for relations between Ukraine and the European Union, reads a statement posted on the party's Web site.

The meeting, which was held in Kyiv on Wednesday, was also attended by Head of the EU Delegation to Ukraine Jan Tombinski and Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on European Integration Hryhoriy Nemyria.

As reported, European commissioners and several representatives of the Directorates General of the European Commission arrived in Ukraine for joint consultation with members of the Cabinet of Ministers on matters related to the implementation of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the EU.
