Right Sector has become a political party, Ukrainian television's Channel Five has reported.
The new party includes a number of nationalist organizations.
"The party's leader, who will run for president, Dmytro Yarosh, didn't meet with the press. Other members of the party said that the Right Sector would participate in all elections in Ukraine – at the presidential, parliamentary and regional levels," Channel Five reported.
Yarosh's colleagues in the party didn't say who will finance his presidential campaign, but they said that the process would be conducted as transparently as possible.
Media reports said earlier that the Right Sector was formed on the basis of the Ukrainian National Assembly (UNA).
