ECHR's final decision on Russia may take a month – Ukrainian justice minister
The final decision of the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) in relation to Russia could be taken within a month or even earlier, the Ukrainian Justice Ministry has reported.
"This week we will give all explanations on communications… I think that as part of the shortened consideration this could take about a month," Justice Minister Pavlo Petrenko told reporters on Friday, responding when asked how soon the ECHR could make a decision on Russia.
However, he said that the preliminary decision was already in force and had legal consequences.
