OSCE observers to stay in Ukraine until March 16 to visit eastern and southern regions
The visit by OSCE observers to Ukraine has been extended until March 16, reads a statement posted on the organization's Web site on Tuesday.
According to the statement, 21 OSCE participating states responded positively to Ukraine's second request and are sending their personnel, in particular, Albania, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Estonia, Finland, France, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Lithuania, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Turkey, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
Such a decision was made due to the need for OSCE representatives to visit eastern and southern Ukraine, reads the statement.
Earlier reports said that OSCE observers were again denied entry into Crimea on Saturday.
"Military assessment visitors from OSCE states returning to Kherson to plan next steps," the OSCE reported on its Twitter page on Saturday.
