Yatseniuk says has tried to talk to Russian leadership for five days
Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk said the Russian leadership has ignored his requests for talks for five days.
"I have again asked for a phone conversation with the Russian prime minister. I am ready to talk to the Russians, but the Russians probably have other problems, and I have not been able to talk to the Russian president or prime minister for five days," he said in the Ukrainian parliament on Tuesday.
"Ukraine is ready for transparent negotiations with Russia and for new relations between Ukraine and Russia, in which Russia recognizes the sovereignty, independence, and territorial integrity of Ukraine, in which Russia also recognizes Ukraine's European integration ambitions," he said.
