Ukraine is ready to study issue of expansion of Crimea's autonomy – OSCE
The Ukrainian government has expressed its readiness to discuss the issue of the expansion of Crimea's autonomy, OSCE High Commissioner on National Minorities Astrid Thors said.
Thors told a press conference in Kyiv on Thursday OSCE officials have talked with Ukrainian government officials in Kyiv and the Ukrainian government expressed its readiness to consider the issue of increasing Crimea's autonomy,
At the same time, Thors said the Ukrainian authorities have expressed their concerns about the recent decisions made by the Supreme Council of Crimea, adding that the OSCE believes there is every reason for the parties to begin negotiations.
