Security official denies reports of hundreds of Ukrainian servicemen siding with Russia

Secretary of the National Security and Defense of Ukraine Andriy Parubiy has said that reports that Ukrainian servicemen are taking the side of Russia are false.

"There is definitely no massive switching of sides, no mass betrayal. There are some isolated cases," he told reporters in Kyiv on Monday.

At the same time, Parubiy stressed that there was a huge information war going, with Russian media reporting that numerous Ukrainian servicemen were siding with Russia.
