Klitschko urges lustration, early parliamentary polls

Vitali Klitschko, leader of the UDAR party, on Thursday called for the lustration of Ukraine's government system and officialdom and for early parliamentary elections.

"We hope that the new government will launch a process of reforms and organize honest and transparent presidential elections. But I am sure that we need complete lustration of our state system and early parliamentary elections," Klitschko told parliament. "This will be correct, we have spoken about it for a long time, and that's what people are demanding."
