Parliament approves Yatseniuk as Ukrainian prime minister
The Verkhovna Rada has approved Arseniy Yatseniuk as Ukrainian prime minister.
A total of 371 MPs out of the 417 registered in the parliament's session hall voted for this decision on Thursday.
Immediately after the vote, Verkhovna Rada Chairman and interim President Oleksandr Turchynov signed a decree appointing Yatseniuk prime minister and invited him to occupy his seat in the government box.
