Tymoshenko says didn't make statements on her intention to run for president - lawyer
Yulia Tymoshenko, former prime minister of Ukraine and leader of the Batkivschyna Party, has not made any statements concerning her intention to run for president as some media have reported.
"Someone has disseminated a statement that Yulia Volodymyrivna said she is running for president. It's untrue. There was no such statement," her lawyer Serhiy Vlasenko said on Ukraina television on Monday.
The Batkivschyna Party earlier issued a statement saying that Yulia Tymoshenko had asked not to be considered for the post of prime minister.
