Ukrainian govt restricts road traffic to Kyiv starting midnight

Traffic to Kyiv will be restricted starting midnight to prevent the escalation of mass unrest in the city, the Ukrainian government press service reported.

"We ask you to treat the response measures with understanding and assist the law enforcement agencies in performing their duties on maintaining law and order," it said in a statement posted on the government website on Tuesday evening.
