Radical protesters burst into Party of Regions' Kyiv office
Radical activists of Ukraine's opposition forced open the entrance door to the Party of Regions' office, located on Lypska Street in the center of Kyiv, and entered the building's courtyard.
Protesters destroyed an iron fence and set fire to one of the cars parked in the yard, an Interfax-Ukraine correspondent has said.
When another two cars emerged from the yard, the activities attacked them with baseball bats, but the cars drove away.
The protesters also surrounded several people who walked out of the building and seized files with documents from them.
People working at the Party of Regions office have said that radical opposition activists wearing balaclavas seized the office and ordered all women to leave the building. Some 20 women had to step over the burning threshold as they fled the building. Several men, mainly the office's technical personnel, remain inside the party's headquarters.
