Tymoshenko hopes to meet with Yatseniuk, Turchynov on Wednesday
Former Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko expects to have a short meeting with Batkivschyna faction leader Arseniy Yatseniuk and the first deputy head of the Batkivschyna All-Ukrainian Union, Oleksandr Turchynov, at Central Clinical Hospital No. 5 in Kharkiv on Wednesday.
The ex-premier's lawyer, Oleksandr Plakhotniuk, told an Interfax-Ukraine reporter that Tymoshenko had filed a respective application to the administration of the Kachanivska penal colony.
According to the press service of the Batkivschyna branch in Kharkiv, Tymoshenko's party colleagues are expected to arrive at the hospital at around 1400.
The State Penitentiary Service office in Kharkiv region is currently unavailable for comment on this issue.
As reported, Yatseniuk twice went to Kharkiv to meet with Tymoshenko in November last year. However, the meetings did not take place.
