EU Commissioner Fule to meet with Ukraine's leadership, political and public figures in Kyiv, says Foreign Ministry
European Commissioner for Enlargement and European Neighborhood Policy Stefan Fule during his two-day visit to Kyiv will meet with the leadership of Ukraine, the leaders of political forces, and public activists, according to the Foreign Ministry.
"[Fule] is scheduled to hold meetings with the Ukrainian leadership, leaders of political parties and members of the public today and tomorrow," the director of the ministry's information policy department, Yevhen Perebyinis, said at a briefing on Tuesday.
He also reiterated that Ukraine's policy of rapprochement with the European Union hadn't changed.
In this regard, Kyiv welcomes the efforts of the European Union and the international community, including international financial institutions, aimed at providing support to Ukraine, Perebyinis said.
