EU to discuss preparation of sanctions against Ukraine - senior EU diplomat
The EU Foreign Affairs Council is planning to consider the preparation of sanctions against Ukraine at a meeting on Monday, a senior European diplomat told Interfax-Ukraine on Thursday.
"This is one of many issues, as some member states want to talk about it," he said.
In addition, the council will discuss the de-escalation of the conflict, constitutional reform and financial assistance.
"All of these topics will be on the agenda," he said.
At the same time, he declined to comment on the possible introduction of sanctions.
