Russian President Vladimir Putin will have a conversation with Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych in Sochi as well as with a number of other foreign leaders to attend the opening ceremony of the Winter Olympics, Kremlin press secretary Dmitry Peskov told Interfax.
"It's true, there will be communication. Communication will be in this or that format, as well as with a lot of others coming for the Olympics' opening ceremony," Peskov said.
Acting Ukrainian Foreign Minister Leonid Kozhara had said earlier that Yanukovych planned to attend the Sochi Olympics.
