Party of Regions invites opposition to jointly resolve crisis in Ukraine

The leader of the Party of Regions faction in parliament, Oleksandr Yefremov, has proposed that the Verkhovna Rada find a way out of the current crisis in the country.

"I propose that all forget the insults and find a way out of this situation through joint efforts," he said at a morning plenary meeting of parliament on Tuesday.

Yefremov also criticized opposition leaders for not responding to the president's proposal to lead the Ukrainian government.

He said that there was also no answer to the question of who currently controls the situation on the streets.

Yefremov also stressed the need to prevent the scenario offered by provocateurs - the overthrow of government.

"We will not allow the scenario of provocateurs," he said.
