Yanukovych to return to work Monday

Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych is expected to reappear in his office on Monday after recovery from an acute respiratory infection, said Oleksandr Orda, deputy head of the State Medical Department.

"The president is feeling well following a course of medical treatment, and is in satisfactory condition. He plans to return to work on Monday," Orda said, according to the presidential press service.

News about Yanukovych's illness was announced by the presidential press service on January 30.

"The president went on sick leave in connection with an acute respiratory infection and fever," Orda said then.
