Klitschko calls incident with Bulatov an act of intimidation of all active citizens
The torture and abuse that Automaidan leader Dmytro Bulatov was subjected to was committed to intimidate those who disagree with the authorities and demonstrate that this could happen to anyone, UDAR Party leader Vitali Klitschko has said.
According to the party's press service, Klitchko visited Bulatov in hospital on Friday night.
"What was done with Dmytro is an act of intimidation of all active citizens, because Automaidan is an effective movement, which is fighting against the authorities, and many of its activists have already suffered – some were beaten, some had their cars smashed, and some were jailed. Dmytro, one of the Automaidan leaders and a man who is not afraid of expressing his civic position, was kidnapped and tortured for a week," Klitschko said.
