Bills on amnesty, constitutional commission agreed, to be voted on soon, says Rada speaker
A Ukrainian parliamentary working group has agreed the wording of the amnesty bill and a draft resolution on setting up a commission on constitutional reform, Verkhovna Rada Chairman Volodymyr Rybak has said.
"The conciliation council has prepared two bills and agreed them with all factions. This is the bill that deals with amnesty and the commission on the constitutional reform," Rybak said after a break in the parliament's extraordinary meeting on Wednesday.
He said that they agreed all the issues related to these bills and the documents were currently copied to be handed out to lawmakers.
A 20-minute break has been announced in parliament.
