Talks on amnesty bill to continue until 1600, Kaletnik calls them successful
The Verkhovna Rada, Ukraine's parliament, has extended a pause in its emergency session until 1600, as talks on the amnesty bill are still continuing.
An Interfax-Ukraine reporter said that First Deputy Parliament Speaker Ihor Kaletnik came out to MPs at 1430 and said that the leaders of factions and experts are continuing to work on a joint bill on amnesty.
"These negotiations are quite successful, and we hope that we will be able to vote for this bill at 1600," Kaletnik said.
