Emergency parliament session opens

An emergency session of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine opened on Tuesday morning.

An Interfax-Ukraine correspondent reported that 395 MPs had registered in the session hall.

Former Ukrainian Presidents Leonid Kravchuk, Leonid Kuchma and Viktor Yuschenko are present in the session hall.

Journalists noticed only Justice Minister Olena Lukash among government members. Most deputies have already gathered in the session hall.

Only one question has been put on the agenda of the parliament meeting: "On the settlement of the political crisis and ensuring stability in the state."
