Two policemen, who were earlier captured by protesters and kept at the Kyiv City Administration building by 'Maidan guard', have been set free, Interior Minister of Ukraine Vitaliy Zakharchenko reported.
"I want to thank everybody, who took part in the release of two policemen, who were captured by so-called 'Maidan guard' and detained at the building of Kyiv city state administration. Either peaceful protesters, as well as ambassadors of the foreign states helped us during talks. Captive policemen have been tortured and now are hospitalized," reads the statement from the minister posted on the ministry's Web site.
