A chance to stop further bloodshed in Ukraine is high, leader of the opposition-minded Batkivschyna parliamentary faction Arseniy Yatseniuk said on Thursday evening after a meeting between the opposition and Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych.
"We've got a task to stop bloodshed, and a chance to stop the bloodshed is very high," Yatseniuk said.
As was reported, three opposition leaders Vitali Klitschko of the UDAR Party, Oleh Tiahnybok of the Svoboda party, and Arseniy Yatseniuk of Batkivschyna came at about 1730 Kyiv time on Thursday to the presidential administration to participate in talks between the opposition and President Yanukovych on the settlement of the political crisis in the country.
