Yanukovych expects opposition to be willing to compromise
Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych has urged the opposition to take a constructive stance and show willingness to compromise.
"The authorities are doing all they can to restore peace and stability in Ukraine," the head of state said in reply to a question posed by Interfax-Ukraine.
What I expect from the opposition is "constructiveness and willingness to compromise," he said.
Talks are continuing on Thursday to settle the situation in Ukraine, Yanukovych said.
